To celebrate the opening of the first Monrovia store, ALDI will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:25 a.m. on Dec. 7. Following the ceremony, the first 100 customers will receive a Golden Ticket, each containing ALDI gift cards of various amounts.

The Monrovia store is part of the aggressive $3.4 billion investment plan ALDI recently announced to expand to 2,500 stores nationwide by the end of 2022. ALDI currently has more than 1,600 stores in 35 states, serving more than 40 million customers each month.

ALDI brings customers the best of their weekly must-haves at prices up to 50 percent less than those at traditional grocery stores. We carry everything from organic produce and USDA Choice meats to the liveGfree gluten-free product line and the SimplyNature line of products, free from over 125 artificial ingredients and preservatives.

In addition to grocery staples, ALDI carries a full line of baby products, Little Journey, which offers customers a variety of award-winning products for the little ones in their lives. ALDI is also known for ALDI Finds: premium food and household products that are only in stores for a limited time.

We believe that to know ALDI is to love ALDI. So to help introduce you to ALDI, we’re sending along two reusable eco-friendly bags and a quarter to use for our cart rental system. Asking our customers to bring reusable bags and rent a Cart each time they come to ALDI helps us cut back on hidden costs and pass savings on to our customers. We also included a few of our favorite products from the liveGfree, SimplyNature, Elevation by Millville, Moser Roth, Specially Selected and Priano lines to give you a taste of our exclusive brands.
