Monrovia Teen Commits Suicide
By Susan Motander
A 16-year-old Monrovia teenager was found unresponsive in her home on Wednesday afternoon. The young girls older sister called Monrovia Police for assistance shortly before 2 p.m. Neither police nor firefighter paramedics were able to revive her.
According to Monrovia Police Department, the young woman, who is thought to have been despondent over problems in a personal relationship, hanged herself. She had apparently fashioned a noose out of a scarf.
Since no foul play was indicated, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office will complete the investigation. Monrovia Police Chaplin Johnson was sent to assist the family.

I think this is the 4th suicide of a Monrovia High School student in the last 18 months. It is a problem that the school system should address.

How dare you post this article and put the blame on the boyfriend?! Shame on you! You’re putting the boyfriend on blast on the media? If you have no proof or anything you shouldn’t say nothing! Have some respect!
