The firs workshop held by the Monrovia Community Garden on vegetable gardening was a success, over 35 community members attended, and the next workshop will be held on Sept. 21 from 9-11 a.m. Attendees will learn about all things compost: what you can and can’t compost, different types of compost methods, and all about Monrovia’s compost program. Everyone is invited to attend.

For more information on educational workshops, plot rental waitlist applications, or to learn more about the public demonstration garden, call (626) 303-6609 or visit Monrovia Community Garden online.
